I've fallen in love. The best recipes are those found in simplicity. Something that's cheap, easy, and quick to prepare much like my partner. Ba-ZING! Thank you, I'll be here all week.
Anyways, this recipe comes to you by Heidi of 101 Cookbooks. All her recipes are truly shibby and worth trying. I have plans to buy her up-and-coming cookbook, and can't wait to give her super natural cooking a try. These fries were a hit with me, Rob, and my friends whom I served it to. I didn't have the parmesan, but it was just fine without. Sweet little starchy potatoes, the salty tang of the lime, the spice of the black pepper, and the little pops of salt all make this dish a keeper.
could i add a little avocado too?

Sam - Ooh, you know garlic aioli, or a cilantro heavy guac would prolly rock the socks off of these. Actually when we were eating them we started to wish we had a bottle of tequila to do shots with. These really are a great party food. Heidi outdid herself!
ReplyDeleteooooh, garlic aioli sounds so good with these potatoes!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking these could be pretty rock'n'roll with some cilantro! They look great.
ReplyDeleteGarrett, I saw this recipe and put it on my to-do list. I loved! The best part -it's not fried! :-)))
ReplyDeleteSounds good, but I don't know if I would use whole limes to be honest with you!
ReplyDeleteI really love your cooking! I am so impressed!
